As an Employer Branding Copywriter, I help bol attract the right talent, strengthen its employer brand, and promote bol’s image as a top employer. In addition to creating and updating careers pages, I interview employees, capturing their inspiring stories and transforming them into online blog posts. This gives potential new hires a unique glimpse behind the scenes, and shows what it’s like working at the largest online marketplace in The Netherlands.

SEO STRATEGY & COPY FOR THE DUTCH COUNCIL FOR REFUGEES

As VluchtelingenWerk’s SEO specialist and web editor, I put a lot of care, dedication and passion into my work. The challenge? A website with over 1,000 pages in urgent need of structure, attention, and organisation. Over the past months, my approach has included:

  • Developing a long-term SEO & data strategy
  • Updating content and creating a clear roadmap for the year ahead
  • Providing interactive SEO training for the team


In just six months, this led to: 

  • A well-organised website with a clear page structure
  • Higher click-through rates and improved Google rankings within three months
  • Over 800 keywords in top 10 positions

CAREER COPY FOR WOONSTAD ROTTERDAM

On behalf of Het Creatiehuis

Woonstad Rotterdam’s website got a full makeover, and needed a new tone of voice and branding. For the career pages, I created fresh, persuasive copy. The content was divided into six disciplines, for which I developed job post formats, email templates, and over ten new pages with engaging copy for potential new Woonstad employees.

As experts in adventurous road trips through East Africa, Roadtrip Africa wanted to inspire more travellers to embrace adventure. With the expansion of their self-drive offerings, it was time to take their content to the next level.

My approach:

  • Conducting a comprehensive SEO analysis and keyword research
  • Rewriting existing content
  • Translating key pages from English to Dutch


The results:

  • A 40% increase in web traffic within three months
  • Nearly 600 keywords in top 10 positions
  • Over 300 newly indexed pages on Google
WEBSITE COPY & TONE OF VOICE FOR LE BENS

For the new website of Le Bens - the creative brand of designer and branding strategist Veerle - I wrote strategic copy to help make the brand stand out. The goal? Finding the perfect balance between appealing copy and a tone that complements the brand's visual identity. I created powerful taglines and developed a clear tone of voice for all communication outlets, ensuring a message that sticks and connects with the right audience.

EMPLOYER BRANDING FOR DANONE

People-centric, stepping out, making an impact and growth - these four pillars are at the heart of every “Danoner.” Using these themes, I interviewed Danone employees and transformed their experiences into authentic stories for the website's career page. Additionally, I edited various web pages for the Employer Branding team, wrote social copy, and translated the new ATS system from English to Dutch.

CONVERSION COPY FOR MOVE UP

A new website that convinces and converts - that was the brief for Move Up Marketing. Together with founder Lex, I set out to bring his vision to life. By researching the company’s USP’s, ideal customer, and services, I created copy that speaks directly to Move Up’s target audience.

SEO & BLOG FOR I WORK REMOTE

Two years ago, I launched a side project - a blog, sharing my experiences as a remote worker with the world. My goal? To offer visitors practical, relevant information I often searched for but couldn’t find myself. It also became a great case study for experimenting with writing, SEO, and online visibility - something I enjoyed immensely. My efforts resulted in: 

  • A 953% increase in visitors within 12 months
  • Over 250 keywords in top 10 positions across just 10 blogs
  • An average rise of more than 20 positions in Google within the first three months
